The Paper Jamz Pro Desktop Software (the “App”) and the website (the "Website") are owned and operated by WowWee Group Limited (collectively with its affiliates, “WowWee”, "we" or "us"). The App can be downloaded at, registered and Used (as per the License Agreement). The App is to be Used to get your music onto your Paper Jamz Pro instrument. The Website is a website where users can download the App, review the Paper Jamz Pro compatible song list, see tutorial videos, follow the Paper Jamz Pro community, participate in promotional activities, and play games.

Terms used as defined terms in this privacy policy (the “Policy”) and not otherwise defined have the meanings respectively ascribed thereto in the Paper Jamz Pro Desktop Software License Agreement.

This Policy discloses the practices of WowWee concerning information we obtain about you and how such information is used and shared. Internet privacy is an issue that we take very seriously. This Policy addresses these issues as well as additional privacy-related issues that we believe may be of interest to you. This Policy does not govern collection of information through any websites other than the App or Website, and does not govern the collection of information by our affiliates. Below we explain the type of information collected from the App and the Website, how that information may be used, how you can access or modify that information, and how that information is protected.

WowWee is interested in promoting its products, and related product activities online, and online safety is important to us. WowWee is fully committed to complying with the provisions of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (“COPPA”). Our information collection practices are described below. We urge children to check with their parent or guardian before entering information on any website or when registering to install software. Furthermore, we at WowWee urge all users, if under the age of 18, to check with their parent or guardian and become familiar with online safety practices before participating in any activities on our Website.

By using the App and the Website, you are accepting the practices described in this Policy and are agreeing to the collection and use of information in the manner described in this Policy. If you are under 18 years of age, please check with your parent or guardian before using this Website.

1. The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act is a general audience Website and does not knowingly collect or store personally identifiable information about children under the age of 13.

WowWee recognizes that it is not permitted by law to collect information about people under the age of 13 without proof of parental or guardian consent. We therefore choose not to accept App or Website registrations or contact information from anybody who is under the age of 13. You must be 13 years of age to register on the Website or to install the App, in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA). DO NOT REGISTER UNLESS YOU ARE AT LEAST 13 YEARS OF AGE, ASK A PARENT OR GUARDIAN TO REVIEW THESE POLICIES.

2. Changes to this Policy
The terms of this Policy may change from time to time. If we decide to change the Policy, we will post these changes on the Website or provide other notification of our revised Policy so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and when we disclose it. As a result, you should check the Website regularly to determine if any changes have been made. You agree that your continued use of the Website following any changes will constitute your affirmative consent to the revised Policy.

3. Information Collection and Use
We only collect enough information from our visitors to make activities with Paper Jamz Pro fun and enjoyable.

We may use your personal information to communicate with you, for record keeping purposes, and in aggregate (and therefore anonymously) for market research purposes.

You need to register the App in order to use it. You do not need an account to browse the Website. WowWee collects personal information when you sign up for WowWeeMail e-mail newsletters and/or register a WowWee product. You can edit or delete your WowWee Account information at any time by logging in at

3.1. Information that may be gathered online
It is our policy to require minimum collection of information from our visitors. In order to interact with the App, WowWee does not require that children disclose more information than reasonably necessary. We may gather and store several types of information through the App and the Website: Anonymous Information and User-Specific Information. Anonymous Information refers to information that does not personally identify you, such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, Gender, Country and information about your interests. User-Specific Information refers to information you provide to us that specifically identifies you as a user of the Website, such as your age and e-mail address, or the e-mail address of a parent or guardian, in order to register the App or subscribe to WowWeeMail. This limited personal information is the only information gathered.

3.1.1. Anonymous Information
Examples of ways in which we may collect Anonymous Information include:

Internet Browser Information: Each time you visit the Website, we collect Information made available by your Internet browser such as: (a) IP address; (b) the address of the last URL visited prior to visiting the Website; and (c) Internet browser and platform type.

Additional Information: We may also collect Information you voluntarily provide upon registering the App (as described above) such as: gender, age, country, interests, and song preferences. Such information would be collected on an aggregate (yours and other user information), anonymous basis for us to better understand the collective habits of our users and their usage information.

We may collect this Anonymous Information through the use of software technologies such as unique identifiers or "cookies." Cookies are small data or text files that we place in visitors' computer browsers to store their preferences and web pages visited while using the Website. Most cookies last only through a single session, or visit. None will contain information that will enable anyone to contact you by telephone, e-mail, or postal mail. We do not use cookies to gather personal information such as a person’s name or e-mail address. In order to measure the effectiveness of our online presence, WowWee may use cookies to identify repeat visitors to our website and to determine the path visitors take on our website. Any information gathered by the use of cookies is compiled on an aggregate, anonymous basis. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off (or disable) all cookies. You do this through your browser (like Safari or Internet Explorer) preferences or settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser’s Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. 3.1.2. User-Specific Information
In order to install and use the App, you must register your license with us to ensure you are 13 years of age or older. During registration, we collect user-specific information, specifically your e-mail address. Your e-mail address will be stored separately from your usage information. You may choose not to provide such user-specific information to us. However, if you so choose, you will be unable to install the App. If you are not 13 years of age or older, please ask a Parent or Guardian to review these policies.

4. Use of Information

4.1. Information we collect is generally used for the following purposes:


  • To inform you of App updates, if necessary.
  • Product Improvements: to help us choose which songs to make Paper Jamz Pro certified compatible to offer you the best playing experience with your Paper Jamz Pro instrument.
  • To build and adjust the App and Website features to make them easier to use, such as better user support.
  • To analyze instrument, song, App and Website usage, improve our content, and customize the content, layout, and services. These uses improve our product offering and better tailor them to meet your needs.


  • To troubleshoot problems and enforce our App License Agreement.

Contests, Sweepstakes and Special Offers:

  • On occasion, we may collect personal information from users in connection with optional (i.e., you opt-in to participate in these offers) sweepstakes, contests or special offers. Such information will be used as indicated at the time of collection.

E-mail Newsletters (WowWeeMail):

  • On occasion, we may collect personal information from users in connection with optional (i.e. you opt-in to subscribe to these services) e-mail newsletters. Such information will be used as indicated at the time of collection. You must be 13 years of age or older to register,

4.2. Information Sharing.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.

From time to time we might like to send you offers for goods or services from our company or from trusted partners that we think you may find of interest. If you do not wish to receive this information, do not select these opt-in boxes.

Your information will never be publicly disclosed on the Website. The information we collect from you is not shared with any other marketing partners or third parties. However, we reserve the right to disclose such information, when we believe that such disclosure is appropriate to comply with the law or a request by a government official, to protect our rights or property, or to enforce our App License Agreement. In the event that WowWee or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, such information may form part of the transferred assets.

4.3. Agents and Other Vendors
We may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on behalf of WowWee. Examples include analyzing data, providing user assistance and processing WowWeeMail accounts. Such agents may have access to Information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

4.4. E-mail Newsletters
From time to time, WowWee offers the opportunity for users to receive e-mail newsletters. When you ask to receive e-mail newsletters, we will collect your e-mail address. You will have the opportunity at any time to request that we no longer send you newsletters by following the "unsubscribe" instructions found in the newsletters.

All information collected for e-mail newsletters will be used only to send the newsletter to the e-mail address provided, and may be disclosed, or shared with third parties who are engaged by us to handle the preparation and delivery of the newsletter. These third parties may not use the information for any other purpose.

5. Other Websites/Links
The App and Website may contain advertising links, and links to other websites. Please be aware that this Website is not responsible for, and does not control, the business and privacy practices of other websites. We encourage you to be aware of this when you leave our Website and to read the legal notices and privacy policies of each and every website you visit.

6. Security
WowWee endeavors to protect any user-specific or personally-identifiable Information, both online and offline. WowWee is committed to ensuring the security of the data provided to us by App and Website users. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to protect the information we collect online.

Every User who has registered their App and has registered for WowWeeMail is responsible for (i) keeping his or her account password confidential and secured, (ii) restricting access to his or her computer; and (iii) keeping the e-mail address associated with that account current. Your username and password are for your use only. You may not disclose your password to any other person.

We urge all users to become familiar with online safety practices and encourage parents to monitor and participate in their child's activities on the Internet.
