Montreal, Canada- As tech leaders and gadget lovers head west for the Consumer Electronics Show January 6-9 in Las Vegas, WowWee's consumer electronics division sets its own path for innovation and originality by adding to its award-winning Cinemin multimedia pico projection line.
At CES 2009 WowWee unveiled Cinemin Swivel, a lightweight pocket-size pico projector with a unique built-in 90°hinge. Powered by Texas Instruments’ DLP® Technology for clear colorful picture quality and designed to work with popular handheld devices like iPod®, iPhone™, and iPad™ from Apple®, Swivel continues to be the preferred companion pico projector for people wanting to show and share their mobile-bound videos, photos, games, and slides.
The new 2011 addition to the line is Cinemin Slice, a multimedia pico projector audio dock – the first to naturally dock iPadä. Slice features vivid WVGA-resolution DLP® projection (with a 90°hinge), rich stereo sound, and connections to just about any device with video-out functionality (via Apple 30-pin, HDMI, VGA, AV) – all in a clever triangular design.
Like Swivel, Slice aims to take projection out of the boring boardroom and into any room, liberating one’s multimedia in a variety of fun ways. Watch movies on the ceiling over your bed. Have your kids use an iPad whiteboard app to draw on the walls (without drawing on the walls!). Gather friends to review vacation photos, sports highlights, concert footage, or even karaoke screens.
Slice comes with a handy remote control and projects an image size of up to 60" in a dimly-lit room, from approximately 8’ to 10’ away. View the 2-minute demo video at: http://ow.ly/3v52v
Cinemin Slice ships at the end of January and is now available to pre-order for $429.99 at WowWee Tech Shop.
